Owner/Director/Instructor - Jennifer has been taking dance since she was a young child. She has been trained locally and nationally in all areas of dance, taking classes from world renowned instructors and choreographers. Owner/Director/Instructor - Jennifer has been taking dance since she was a young child. She has been trained locally and nationally in all areas of dance, taking classes from world renowned instructors and choreographers. She has had the opportunity to take students to Disney World to perform in a parade at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Jennifer has recently become a barre instructor, and looks forward to incorporating barre technique into dance classes as well. Her work also includes choreography for the Southpark Christmas Tree Lighting and a benefit concert to benefit Bundles of Joy, a charity that raises money for Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hospital and Hemby Intensive Care Nursery. She most recently has taken a strong interest into flexibility training to prevent injury. She has been recognized for choreography, technique, precision and studio of excellence at several dance competitions. Jennifer has an extensive background in competitive dance and enjoys cultivating young talent.

Director/Instructor - A native of upstate New York, Ms. Lori has lived in the Charlotte area for over 20 years. She has been dancing since the age of 5, and has studied many genres of dance including, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Acrobatics under the guidance of Charline Topor as well as many other instructors and mentors in the NY area. She continues to take classes at conventions and workshops to stay current with dance trends. She has been instructing in the Charlotte area for more than 16 years with 13 of those years right here at Showcase Dance Centre. Ms. Lori has been recognized for her choreography at many dance competitions over the years. She loves to share her passion for dance with any and all students that she has been given the opportunity to teach. Ms. Lori has an associate’s degree in Graphic Design and has a passion for health and wellness. She resides in Indian Land, SC with her husband and son and daughter who also share their love and passion of dance with their Mom!

Instructor - Jessica Stewart began her life as a dancer at the age of 5 in Asheville, North Carolina, where she studied a variety of dance techniques including ballet, pointe, tap jazz, lyrical and modern dance. She obtained her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in dance and choreography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in May 2011, where she actively performed for both graduate students as well as faculty members while developing her own choreographic identity. As a performer, Jessica is currently a member of Wingspan Dance, directed by Sarah Barnard, as well as Taproot, co-directed by Brianna Smith and Camerin Watson. She has also worked with Wanda Ebright of The Wanda Project and Martha Connerton as a member of her dance company Kinetic Works. She has been involved as a performer and/or choreographer in the Greensboro Fringe Festival, the Atlanta Fringe Festival, and numerous performances throughout North and South Carolina. Thusfar her most rewarding dance experience has been the opportunity to perform at the 2012 Democratic National Convention which was held in Charlotte, North Carolina.

She began teaching dance following high school graduation and taught ballet, tap, hip hop and jazz. Jessica then began her college career and currently holds a masters degree from Stony Brook University. She is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and loves working with kids.

Office Manager - Randi is a Charlotte native, a graduate of Independence High School and North Carolina State University, and has many years of experience raising a child in dance. Her daughter, now in college, danced 14 consecutive years in recreational and competitive levels. Randi's dance mom expertise will help guide you and assist you with any questions you may have. Her previous years as a preschool teacher, and her love for children, make her excited to see students grow and learn. She has always considered Showcase a large extended family and is happy to be continuing that relationship in the office.

She danced for 14 years and was on her college dance team. Shelley moved to Charlotte in 2011 and began teaching children’s gym, music, and art classes. She is currently an elementary interventionist with Cabarrus County Schools where she enjoys watching the progress each of her students make throughout the year. She is a Disney super fan and loves to run Disney World races. Shelley is a mom of two. Her daughter is a competitive dancer with Showcase Dance Centre.

Guest Instructor - Kara Schillo is currently a student at East Carolina University where she is majoring in Nursing, danced one year on the ECU Dance Team and just completed a year on the ECU Club Dance Team. She is from Harrisburg, NC and received most of her dance training at Showcase Dance Centre. Kara began dancing at the age of three and has competed regionally and nationally for 15 years. She has won numerous awards and titles throughout her competitive years. Kara continues to further her training by attending various regional conventions and master classes under well known professional dancers and choreographers. She is trained in the styles of tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and pom. Kara is excited to share her passion for dance while teaching all of her students. Kara is also an instructor at Greenville Civic Ballet when she is at school.

Jalen is a graduate of East Carolina University where he continued his passion by joining ECU's Tap Acapella Group. Being involved with ECU's Tap Acapella Group allowed him to choreograph routines and serve the surrounding community by teaching tap to children at local afterschool programs.
Jalen is excited to be back at home teaching what he loves the most! He hopes to share his passion by training dancers and giving students the same experience he had when he was a student at Showcase Dance Centre.
